Position: Teaching Assistant – SEN Unit

The Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join the SEN Unit within one of our partner secondary schools in Ipswich on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and is looking to join a supportive and welcoming school community. The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and the wider SEN team to provide tailored support, helping students to achieve both academically and personally.

The Applicant:
Has previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN setting
Is passionate about supporting students with additional learning needs
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Can build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
Is patient, reliable, and adaptable
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Holds a positive attitude and is keen to make a real difference in students’ education
