Position: ICT Technician
Location: Ipswich
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £14.35 – £15.82 per hour
The Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive ICT Technician to support the smooth running of IT systems within a busy secondary school. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience within an education setting.
You will support the Network Manager with maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring staff and students can effectively access technology for teaching and learning. Duties include installing software, maintaining equipment, supporting users, and assisting with audio-visual setups across the school.
The successful candidate will:
Have a strong interest in IT and technology
Be confident troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues
Demonstrate good communication and problem-solving skills
Be organised and able to work independently and as part of a team
Be adaptable and willing to support across different areas of ICT
Previous experience in an ICT support role is desirable but not essential.
