Position: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Maldon
Start date: ASAP
The role:
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children’s development through engaging activities, structured learning and nurturing care.
Your responsibilities will include supervising and inspiring children throughout the day, supporting learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, maintaining appropriate staff-to-child ratios and working closely with your team to create a safe and stimulating nursery environment.
You may also become a key person for a group of children, supporting their development, monitoring progress and building strong partnerships with parents and carers.
The applicant:
The successful applicant is expected to have maths and English (GCSE grade C/4 and above) or alternatively a suitable childcare qualification. SEND qualification is preferred but not essential. Experience and personality are equally desirable. Being able to work in a team as well as individually is important to provide maximum support to the class teacher.
