Position: SEND Teaching Assistant (TA)
Key Stage: KS 2
Location: Barking
Start date: ASAP
Pay: £80 – £85 per day
The role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and compassionate individual with strong behaviour managment to support a year 6 child with special educational needs in the classroom. This will be working on a 1 to 1 basis with the child, helping them to develop academically, socially and emotionally.
The applicant:
The successful applicant is expected to have maths and English (GCSE grade C/4 and above) or alternatively a suitable childcare qualification. SEND qualification is preferred but not essential. Experience and personality are equally desirable. Being able to work in a team as well as individually is important to provide maximum support to the class teacher.
